Quantum Supporting DYNETICS on Air Force CIMTIC III Contract

(Huntsville, AL – April 20, 2012) — Quantum Research International, Inc. (Quantum) is a teammate on the United States Air Force Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) and Munitions Test Improvement Contract (CIMTIC) III. We are part of the integrated team assembled by Dynetics, Inc. for the $45 Million Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract, with the primary objective of providing for the urgent development and modification of Air Armament Center (AAC) C4I and munitions test and evaluation (T&E) systems and facilities under the responsibility of the 46th Test Wing's Range Group. The scope of CIMTIC III includes unique, specialized hardware and software and/or prototype systems to develop and/or modify and improve Eglin Range Complex facilities and infrastructure urgently required for test, training, and evaluation of C4I and Munitions systems. A secondary requirement for this acquisition is to develop/modify the systems, facilities, and infrastructure required to provide electronic combat test, training, and evaluation support for Air Force Special Operations Command and Air Combat Command. A tertiary requirement may involve providing these enhancements in testing capability at other facilities in the C4I and Munitions test community.

Services and support available via CIMTIC III include:

Design, development, fabrication, calibration, integration, test, modification, installation, training and/or transition to production support of AAC Range Complex test hardware and software systems, sub-systems, test facilities, infrastructure, and network improvements
System analysis, system engineering, and technological evolution of C4I, munitions, directed energy, and other T&E systems, facilities, and infrastructures; supportability planning, installation, and training
Development/modification/upgrades to digital simulation models, hardware in-the-loop test facilities, measurement facilities, installed system test facilities, open-air range facilities, and networked test facilities
Testing of hardware and software systems used for C4I (including “System of Systems”) and hardware and software systems used on aircraft platforms involved with the C2 test process
Munitions testing of ground based, airborne, and space borne ordnance/armament systems and supporting guidance and control, seeker/sensor, navigation systems, as well as high energy lasers, and high power microwave systems
