Quantum's current work in the area of C4ISR includes the following: |
JOINT SINGLE INTEGRATED AIR PICTURE (SIAP) ARCHITECTURE SUPPORT: Providing architecture development, system engineering, and software engineering support to the Joint Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) Systems Engineering Organization (JSSEO). Refining integrated architecture products as outlined in both the C4ISR and DoD Architecture Framework documents as will as a SIAP integrated architecture behavior model of the tactical battle management and command control functionality that enables the JSSEO Systems Engineer to generate, illustrate and document SIAP concepts and requirements. |
MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY C4ISR SUPPORT: Providing C4ISR support as a member of the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) National Team B (NTB) for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) in the areas of architecture and system engineering; modeling and simulation; systems integration; test and exercise support; information architecture development; and configuration management. |
Air and Missile Defense Requirements Support to the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery School (USAADASCH): Providing technical support to the Directorate of Combat Developments (DCD), USAADASCH to develop concepts, requirements, and Operational Architecture products in support of the development of an Integrated Air and Missile Defense System (IAMDS). Maintaining the current Army Operational Architecture (OA) and keeping its products current with emerging AMD concepts and requirements as well as maintaining current and future force views of the Army AMD OA for application to combat and doctrine development activities. Determining the applicability of Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control System (AMDPCS) Operational Requirements Document (ORD) requirements to individual AMD systems; and tailoring applicable requirements to reflect the unique capabilities and needs of individual systems and to support the integration of systems. Reviewing and recommending changes to the SIAP Integrated Architecture Behavorial Model to ensure it meets IAMD System of Systems information management and data processing issues. Supporting DCD in the review of Joint, interagency and multinational AMD concepts and requirements. Providing subject matter expertise to USAADASCH on the Army Architecture Repository and Management System (AARMS). |
| JOINT TACTICAL RADIO SYSTEM (JTRS) COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SUPPORT: Providing engineering support to the Aviation Systems Project Manager’s Office (AS PMO) on all issues related to the design, development, test, and integration of the JTRS Cluster I radio for Army Aviation. Providing analyses and assessments of the JTRS Block I system and technical architecture, hardware, and software design to ensure DII-COE and JTA compliance and interoperability with aircraft and other systems. Supporting the development, preparation, coordination and evaluation of materiel requirements specifications (both hardware and software), interface control documentation, configuration management plans, schedules, trade-off analyses, risk assessments, test plans and test reports. |
U.S. ARMY AIR DEFENSE ARTILLERY SCHOOL (USAADASCH) AIR AND MISSILE DEFENSE BATTLE LAB (AMDBL) SUPPORT: Providing services to develop concepts, requirements, and procedures and architecture products to provide AMD and Army Aircraft Command and Control (A2C2) capabilities to Future Combat System (FCS) platforms. |
PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE - MISSILES AND SPACE SUPPORT: Providing Air and Missile Defense data engineering, communications assessments, Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP), and Space Program support to the PEO-MS. Performing architecture product development and research tasks for PEO-MS, Space Division. Supporting PEO MS and the Joint Architecture Working Group (JAWG) in defining and agreeing to an objective track management architecture, updating Joint track management system requirements and assessing the IABM against the objective architecture. Performing interoperability engineering and interface requirements analysis for ASMD integration with Future Combat Systems (FCS), which includes performing requirements analysis and system engineering in the development of an objective Cruise Missile (CMD) capability, to support FCS and SIAP. Performing architecture product development tasks for PEO ASMD in support of the AMD System of Systems (SoS) Integrated Fire Control (IFCS) engineering activity. Performing architecture product development tasks for PEO ASMD in support of the Joint Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) initiative and the Missile Defense Agency Composite Element Capability Specification (CECS). Supporting the Army SIAP Architecture Task Force in developing and reviewing architecture products that define and describe the Army's contribution to and use of the SIAP. Reviewing JSSEO architecture products and information to determine their usefulness to Army SIAP using and consuming systems and organizations. |
ARMY G8 DIRECTORATE OF INTEGRATION (DOI) ARCHITECTURE SUPPORT: Representing the DOI and co-chairing the Operational and System Architecture Process Team, a sub-element of the Army Experimentation Campaign Plan; synchronizing OAs/SAs with force development. Conducted an analysis to determine if the Army Enterprise Architecture would support the Army’s Unit Set Fielding (USF) schedules and system of systems integration. Established a Network Work Group to ensure all Future Combat System (FCS) Complementary Network systems are fully integrated and synchronized with FCS Family of Systems. Supported multiple integrated process and product teams that designed the operational and systems architecture for Force XXI and Styrker experiments and fieldings; and are similarly involved in similar processes to design the operational and systems architecture for FCS and UA. |
| JOINT DEFENSIVE PLANNER (JDP) SUPPORT: Assisting in the development, review, staffing, and presentation of the US Army user inputs to Joint Theater AMD (JTAMD) planning concepts and requirements. Assisting in the operational evaluation of the JDP and its interface with the Air and Missile Defense Work Station (AMDWS), which hosts the Army TAMD planner. Supporting development, review, and preparation of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) related to Army AMD planning and ensuring the TTP are compatible with and complemented by the Army user inputs to JDP and AMDWS requirements. Participating in JDP Warfighter Evaluations and in joint TAMD exercises that test JDP capabilities and validate the JTAMD planning requirements that the JDP developer is implementing. Developing recommended positions to be taken by the Army's voting representative to the JDP Users' Group (JUG) and supporting or representing the Army AMD community at JUG meetings as required. |
